Noise here was awful, all day and all night. Breakfast was bad, not just below par. The room listing promised a balcony and sea view, but there was no sea view, not even a partial one. I raised it with the man at reception, who blamed booking.com. He said I could find another hotel, cancel my remaining nights, and not be charged. I did that and checked out. Afterward I contacted Casa Teresa to confirm I wouldn’t be charged and also left a message with booking.com. The man from Casa Teresa replied that I wouldn’t be charged if I didn’t leave a bad review. Nobody had mentioned that condition before, and I never agreed to it. Two days later, Casa Teresa charged my card for the night I had canceled, despite saying I wouldn’t have to pay. booking.com found the transaction and reversed it for me. See the screen capture of our conversation. Casa Teresa are thieves, liars and crooks.

We had a nice few nights here. The rooms have lovely balconies and views, and the staff were friendly. The beach is a bit of a hike, though that’s the tradeoff for paying less than you would closer in. The complimentary breakfast was a real plus. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

The family running Hotel Casa Teresa were so accommodating, and the breakfast each morning was just what we needed. We could walk everywhere from this peaceful spot, and the views of the landscape were great. It exceeded what we expected. I can’t wait to come back!

The couple running this lovely guest house were attentive and friendly, and the rooms were spacious. Ours had a comfortable bed, private bathroom, fridge, TV, AC, heater, and a balcony looking out toward the sea and the south side of Positano. It’s on the way down to the second beach, away from downtown crowds but still close enough to recreation areas. The prices were among the most competitive in town. Highly recommended!

We found the staff friendly and helpful, especially when we were trying to figure out Positano’s tricky streets. The property has incredible views across the landscape, and our spacious room came with a balcony. Restaurants and shops are nearby, and getting to the port is quick. The location exceeded our expectations. I definitely recommend it!
