We were right below the bar, so the music got a bit loud in the evenings, but it always stopped around 11pm and didn’t spoil our stay. For our honeymoon, Hotel Montemare was otherwise amazing. The view was breathtaking, easily one of Positano’s best, and the staff were super friendly. They helped us book restaurant reservations and surprised us with free prosecco to celebrate. Our room was spotless, and breakfast was excellent, especially the omelette. The hotel is a short walk from the beach and many of the best restaurants in town. We absolutely loved staying here and highly recommend Hotel Montemare, especially for couples.

The cooking class was a highlight of our trip. We spent a lovely afternoon making Pasta, Ravioli, and Gnocchi with a patient chef who explained each step clearly and got us involved. We learned a lot, then ate what we’d made on the terrace overlooking the Positano coast. It felt magical. The food was some of the best we had in all of Italy, and the staff were welcoming and genuinely friendly. They went out of their way with great suggestions to help us make the most of our vacation. The hotel has breathtaking panoramic coast views, and the whole experience was flawless from the moment we arrived. We can’t recommend it highly enough for luxury, warmth, and an authentic, welcoming stay in Positano.

They even brought out a birthday cake and sang happy birthday to me on the morning of my special day. We stayed four nights in a beautiful terrace suite, and all the staff were attentive and made sure our stay went smoothly. When weather forced us to cancel our plans, they helped arrange alternatives. It was truly memorable, and we’d love to return someday!

The breakfast terrace has unbeatable views, and breakfast itself was perfect each morning. We also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant, and the cocktail bar was one of the best. Our room was beautiful and clean, and the staff constantly went above and beyond for anything we needed. Such an amazing hotel with amazing views. Can’t wait to come back!

My wife and I booked Hotel Montemare for our honeymoon, and the terrace room was the best room we’ve ever stayed in. The amenities felt extravagant and were clean. I believe it’s the best hotel in Positano for location and luxury. The staff were kind and helpful with every request, and the service and hospitality blew us away. With the luxurious rooms, friendly team, and excellent food, I highly recommend it to any family or friend visiting Positano.
