Waking up to that beautiful view was lovely, and the location was just right. It took about 5 minutes to get to the beach, though the way back took 10 minutes, lol. Our room and bathroom were a good size, even if the shower was tiny. We tried breakfast both in the dining room and in our room. The staff were attentive and ready to help anytime. We loved our stay and would definitely come back.

I booked through booking.com and got a thoughtful surprise at check-in: they upgraded us to a room with a balcony and a sea and city view. We loved the room and the service, and everyone was helpful and welcoming. It’s close to the beach and lots of restaurants. I’d highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic week at Hotel Bougainville in Positano, and Imma was a big part of what made it so memorable. She was cheerful and kind, shared local tips, and always made us feel at home. Salvatore also deserves thanks for helping with transportation and making sure our travels went smoothly. The whole staff went out of their way to make our stay easy. The front desk team was welcoming and available whenever we needed help, housekeeping kept everything spotless, and the restaurant staff were friendly and professional at every meal. Between the service, the views, and the overall experience, we can’t recommend Hotel Bougainville enough. We can’t wait to return!

La Bougainville felt personal and welcoming, with a small, quaint atmosphere and amazing staff. We really enjoyed our few nights there last week. Imma was a standout: she was eager to help, happy to handle all our questions and requests, and went the extra mile. Everyone else we met was friendly too. The lounge was a lovely, fairly quiet spot with a nice view. Breakfast was delicious and had plenty of options. The hotel is easy to walk from to lots of shops and restaurants, as well as the beach, though getting down to the beach means about 5-10 minutes on steps and downhill paths. Positano was beautiful, and staying at Hotel La Bougainville made the trip even better.

We loved our 4 day stay. The hotel is only about two minutes from the centre and five from the beach and ferries, and the staff were brilliant with advice and tips. Breakfast was fantastic, with hot and cold choices, pastries, eggs, bacon, cereals and yoghurt. We took the bus to other towns along the Amalfi coast and caught the ferry to Capri.
