Palazzo Margherita Positano

We stayed in the Prianno suite on our month-long honeymoon around Italy, and it was just right for the two of us. The views from the terrace were incredible, and we could also take them in from the balcony and the bathroom windows, which open wide and have double glazing. We had everything we needed, including a washing machine, which many of our other hotels didn't have. There are two markets up the street, so we made breakfast each morning and ate on the terrace before heading out. Palazzo Margherita is well placed, high enough for a fantastic view but not so far up that getting to the center is difficult. Our driver could pull up right at the door to unload, which saved us from hauling bags up the many stairs that are common elsewhere in Positano. The value also seemed incredible compared with other places we considered nearby. What really made the stay, though, was Mauro. We'd booked seven hotels and spoken with dozens more, and my wife and I both found him by far the most communicative and helpful. As first-time visitors, we appreciated how easy he made arriving, staying, and leaving. Other hotels often gave us only a few words back, if they replied at all. He also helped arrange transport, recommended and booked dinners, and sorted out other outings for us. Choosing accommodation can set the tone for a whole trip, especially somewhere new. We had such a good experience here that we'll absolutely stay again whenever we're back in Positano.

Mauro was a standout. He answered messages quickly, met us at check-in and checkout, and arranged an excellent driver, Enzo, to take us from the airport and later to the train station. The apartment was huge and very clean, with a great view. It had plenty of equipment, including a coffee machine, dishwasher, and washing machine. The bathrooms and water worked well, and filtered water was available in the stairwell. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. It's quite high up, so expect lots of stairs to and from the beach. There are several restaurants at a similar level that don't involve climbing, and there's a small grocery shop nearby. We also ate on our balcony.

Mauro, the Customer Care Manager, made a huge difference. He arranged transfers, replied to all our questions promptly, met us when we arrived, and went out of his way to help when a personal situation came up during our stay. The apartment was wonderful, but his care added so much to the experience. Palazzo Margherita felt safe and was conveniently located. We had lovely balcony views, and the kitchenette, washer, and air conditioning were especially useful. The AC was great on warmer days, and having a grocery store just a few steps up the road was handy. I'd recommend staying here without hesitation.

Mauro has been superb to deal with over the past few months, and we really appreciate his friendliness and reliability. He's a real asset to the hotel. We had a great stay at Palazzo Margherita: the Mulini unit is spacious, well equipped, and comfortable, and the location suited us well. The balcony view has to be one of the best in Positano.
