The private terrace had a stunning view, and breakfast served right in the room made the stay feel special. Palazzo Talamo is tucked away enough to feel quiet, yet close to Positano's main sights. The wonderful Da Vincenzo restaurant is only a few steps away. We spent one night here and were pleasantly surprised by the small hotel's warmth and charm. Check-in was smooth and unusually personal, thanks to the attentive staff member who welcomed us. Our cozy room was beautifully styled and had its own character. It's officially rated three stars, but the comfort, location, and charm make it feel close to a four-star stay. Good value, genuine hospitality, and a lovely local atmosphere. We'd gladly come back.

The sea view from the balcony is amazing, and the location makes it easy to get to the center and port. There are good restaurants nearby, too. The receptionist sounded very formal and serious, though, and wasn't very friendly. Breakfast is served in the room, and you have to choose it at check-in. For the quality, I found it too pricey.

The balcony is huge and the views are fabulous. Breakfast was excellent and brought out each morning to the balcony. We loved the restaurants, especially Cafe Positano just outside the hotel, and the staff were wonderful, particularly Alla. Getting to the hotel means climbing 500 steps, so if you're arriving by ferry, use the porter service for your luggage. Finding accommodation in Positano can be hard, and GPS couldn't locate this place. One tip: don't go to nearby El Capitano, they wanted €120 to make a dinner booking. We loved everything here!

Alla greeted our group of four couples warmly at the desk and helped us get settled in our rooms. Throughout the visit she made us feel welcome, shared recommendations, and arranged reservations. When we left, she was dealing with guests who hadn't checked out and weren't being very kind, but she still kept her smile and her considerate, helpful manner. You're fortunate to have someone like Alla representing your business. Please thank her again for us.
