The hosts grew up in the area and had great suggestions for things to do. We hiked the “Hole in the Mountain” trail, took a kayaking tour along Positano’s coast and nearby villages, and went on a local wine tour they arranged for a rainy day. When we stayed in to cook, they gave us homemade pasta sauce, fresh basil, garlic, and local olive oil. One of our rooms had a kitchen, and the ingredients came from their garden or nearby. Breakfast each morning was spectacular, with seasonal fruit, delicious coffee, and homemade touches. They have a nearby farm and a small garden on-site, so everything was fresh and flavorful. After I mentioned loving profiteroles, they surprised us by serving them the next morning. When a storm meant we couldn’t travel to Capri, they let us extend our stay by two nights without hesitation. Montepertuso, just above Positano, gave us breathtaking views and an authentic Italian experience. The hosts were warm, responsive, and treated us like family. They even invited us to a family celebration during our stay. There are two great restaurants and a small market within walking distance, and Positano is about a 15-minute bus ride away. We liked walking down and taking the bus back up. One night they arranged transport to Rifugio dei Mele in nearby Nocelle, a restaurant with unbeatable views. We left with full hearts, amazing pictures, and wonderful memories. We’re already thinking about coming back.

The best part was the breathtaking view. The garden is amazing, and all the food comes from there, organic and authentic. Enza and Alberto were generous, caring hosts who made us feel at home. Positano is lovely, but staying at petrea hotel made the whole experience even better.

Alberto and Enza were fantastic throughout our week with them. They helped us with our daily outings and made sure our trip was what we wanted. Breakfast each morning was great too. They both have big hearts, and couldn’t have been more accommodating. Thank you so much!

Enza made our trip feel special from start to finish. She helped us work out the best ways to get around, and even arranged thoughtful birthday surprises that made the celebration unforgettable. The place was spotless and comfortable, just as described. We loved her restaurant suggestions, and the neighborhood felt safe and welcoming, with a real community feel. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this Airbnb, especially with a host like Enza who really cares about her guests.
