Terrazza Positano

We booked lunch during our two-night stay, and HER FATHER IS AN AMAZING CHEF with a bartending background. Hands down, it was the best meal of our Italy trip. By the time we left, we didn’t want to go, and we’ve already decided this is the only place we’ll stay when we return to Positano. La Terrazza del Sole had only just reopened in 2026 after renovations, so everything felt brand-new, spotless, and beautifully kept. The views across the ocean, mountains, and city were unreal, honestly better than many famous hotels nearby. It’s about a 5-minute walk from the ferry and a short walk to restaurants and shops. The entrance gate was so beautifully decorated that tourists kept stopping for photos, me included. Valentina and her family made the stay unforgettable. They welcomed us with drinks, snacks, and flowers, and treated us like family from the start. Valentina was always responsive and helpful while respecting our privacy. Every room has its own adorable private balcony connected to the gorgeous terrace. It would be PERFECT for an intimate wedding or private event. Gold stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Book before everyone discovers it, because they’re going to get booked FAST.

I had the wedding I’d always dreamed of on this magnificent terrace. The owners are so friendly and helpful, and the service is impeccable. I recommend it to everyone!!

Guests are pampered here by kind, well-trained staff who love looking after people. The view is truly enchanting and breathtaking, and it’s an ideal place for any event. A unique experience!!!!!!!!!

We got to take in an incredibly beautiful view while waiting for our reservation at the restaurant above. It was just a bit too hot, since they don’t provide umbrellas.
