The villa-made wine was excellent, a brut with a very delicate flavor. Breakfasts had Italian-style choices as well as tasty cold cuts and delicious local cheeses. The owners were very nice, and the rooms were cleaned every day. The house itself has the feel of an old, atmospheric palace. A wonderful place.

This grand, very large 17th-century villa has been beautifully restored, with lovely gardens and views across the district. The gracious hosts have clearly put a lot of love into it, and they also make wonderful organic Prosecco, so be sure to try a bottle. The whole place takes you back to another time. If you're after a modern, generic, bland stay, it probably won't suit you.

The rooms are huge and very comfortable, and breakfast was great. Paola's service was excellent too. I emailed her because I was worried about a heat wave and asked whether there were fans in the rooms. She said the windows provided good ventilation, but when we arrived she'd put a fan in our room. We stayed three nights while visiting friends nearby, and the restored villa in the Prosecco hills made a great base for trips to Monte Grappa, Asolo, Bassano del Tomba, and other places. The Neoclassical masterpiece church in Posagno is an easy walk away. If you're in the Prosecco region, give this place a chance. It's well worth it.
