The pool is a nice size, with loungers and cushions ready to use, and there’s a washing machine if you need one. We also appreciated the air conditioning and the bread delivery. The property is kept clean and in great shape, with daily cleaning too, thank you! The Verdorfer family really goes out of their way to make guests comfortable. Each apartment has a different layout, so read the descriptions closely when choosing. The SS38 connection makes getting around easy, and traffic noise wasn’t too bad. We had a wonderful stay and would love to return.

Being in the valley makes it easy to get to the local sights, though the highway and trains can be heard quite clearly. The owners are warm, hands-on hosts and make sure the atmosphere is pleasant. The pool is clean, well looked after, and plenty big enough, and the loungers are all in excellent condition. Parking outside the house was easy, and with a little luck you might even get a covered space 😜. We really enjoyed our visit. There was nothing to complain about, everyone made sure we had what we needed.

Several ski areas are only a few minutes away by car, which worked well for my winter ski touring and skiing trip. The apartment was very clean, and the kitchen had everything I needed. The owners were friendly and pleasant. I’d definitely recommend it.

Burgstall is only a five-minute drive from Lana, which has more to offer than you might expect: lovely shops, the Sader ice cream parlor, the Pfefferlechner beer garden, and the Vigiljoch cable car if you’d rather not drive far. We even bought new hiking boots for the kids there. Bolzano, Merano, the birds of prey flight in Dorf Tirol, and the Partschins waterfall are also close by or an easy drive away. We spent two weeks here with our two children, and the rooms and property were immaculate and so carefully looked after. I hadn’t reread the travel papers, so room service came as a surprise. Towels and bed linen were changed and rubbish taken away while we were out or at the pool. It was discreet, and everyone was friendly if we crossed paths. Laundry, bread rolls, borrowing table tennis rackets, even getting a new audiobook delivered through Amazon, were all easy to arrange. The two pools were clean too, and five stars are well deserved. I was initially unsure about my wife’s choice because we were near a busy road and railway, and our rooms faced that way. That’s common in South Tyrol, where routes run through the valleys. But the traffic was far enough away that the noise stayed low. I’m quite sensitive to noise, and it didn’t bother me.
