La Piazzetta Suite "Dimore Lucane"

I can’t comment on the hotel or rooms because I never got there. I booked this hotel in central Potenza because parking was supposedly available. See attached screenshot. Shortly before my stay, I was told I could park on the street using a temporary permit from the municipality, or use a car park much farther away. That’s not what I expected from a “private parking option.” I had a lot of heavy professional gear with me, so I tried parking on the street. I arrived in Potenza at 10.30 in the evening and spent 45 minutes driving around the city center looking for a space. The huge crowds meant I couldn’t find one. In the end, I slept at a hotel by the motorway. The owner says it was my own fault and didn’t offer any gesture to compensate me. I’d paid for two nights, and that money was gone. Communication was also very difficult. I replied to their emails through Booking, which usually works fine, but the owner said he couldn’t see my messages or only received them very late. Maybe he was too busy with other things? In response to the host’s wild reaction: You’re a joke. You warned people about a negative review in advance and accused me of blackmailing you? How low can you go? I’ve been a Google local guide for years. I don’t want any money from you. I just want to warn consumers about false information. Your response is childish and shouldn’t be taken seriously. You’re making yourself look ridiculous. I hope you learn to handle criticism better and leave this sort of mudslinging behind.
