Hotel Terme Antico Bagno

A good wellness hotel with a cosy room and very attentive staff. The food was fine for the region. Getting to the pistes takes some moving around in the morning since the hotel isn’t close to them. I did find the room noisy, though, because the door shuts loudly and hallway sounds come through.

The river outside our suite was hard to forget. We could hear the water running, and the views made it tempting to stay in rather than head out. The suite was spacious and nicely furnished, and Hotel Terme Antico Bagno itself is beautiful, in a spot that feels like a postcard. We were in Pozza di Fassa in September 2024, and the welcome felt sincere from the moment we arrived. The hospitality was warm and personal, and we were treated wonderfully. Meals were excellent, with simple dishes prepared really well. After exploring the Dolomites, the spa helped ease our tired legs. One afternoon we followed the river into town, with gorgeous scenery along the way. It was a comfortable, welcoming stay that made us want to linger.

We booked the hotel instead of staying elsewhere and visiting QC Thermals, and that worked out really well. The service was great and the food delicious during our two nights in September. Some rooms in the “thermal” option come with their own whirlpool bath filled with thermal water. The spa is basic but does the job. It’s open from 3 to 7 pm, and the steam sauna is free for guests, though you need to reserve it.

The staff were amazing and so helpful, especially with rides to and from the ski lift. We had a wonderful stay, then got to come back to the hotel spa and relax. It’s a great base for seeing the beautiful Dolomites and Sellaronda. I’d definitely recommend it.
