The golf grounds are beautiful and in excellent condition, and the place itself is very nice. The room was very clean, though it feels a bit old and could use renovation. One drawback: there's no charging station for an electric car that takes a standard payment card, so you have to pay through the hotel.
Getting around the large hotel was confusing because there were no clear signs, and we got lost several times trying to find our room and the facilities. The staff were rude and unhelpful throughout, even when we needed basic assistance. Our room was extremely outdated and poorly maintained. The air conditioning was so loud we couldn't sleep with it on, so in December we had to switch it off and sleep in the cold to get any rest. For what we paid, the stay fell far below an acceptable standard. The confusing layout, poor service, and uncomfortable room made it unpleasant, and I can't recommend the hotel unless there are significant improvements to the facilities and service.
Off season, it's so quiet you can sleep until noon, and late checkout is free until 12:30. The grounds are beautiful, and the breakfast is included, with good quality food and an omelette cooked to order. There's a good selection, and all the staff speak English. The rooms feel upscale, with thoughtful design, and are clean and comfortable; the bathroom is small but fine. It's a large property with a gate guard and easy parking for tall, wide vehicles. A peaceful, affordable place for a couple of days for two.
The location is perfect, the service is really nice, and the rooms were clean and beautiful. There's good golf, and the swimming pool is nice too. Best hotel ever!
Susanna at the front desk was excellent in every way, and the staff were friendly. The restaurant was great too. The hotel architecture is beautiful, and the golf courses are top notch. There are three good 9-hole courses. We played red and yellow, then red and white the next day. The courses were in very good condition, with a nice layout, quite a bit of water, and good greens. My wife and two children enjoyed trips to Verona, about 30-40 minutes away, and around Lake Garda on the ferries over a few days. I wish we'd rented a car. We didn't, and in my opinion we spent far too much on overpriced taxis. I'd highly recommend Chervo Golf hotel to my extended family and friends, and hope to come back sometime soon.
