Agave Hotel Residence Inn

The pool is open from 9:00 to 18:00, and the hotel has a daycare contract, so there were little kids running around, screaming, and swimming in life jackets. I was so embarrassed. We had more than 20 guests booked here for five days for my mother’s birthday, but the hotel did nothing to acknowledge the occasion, despite claiming to host special events. The staff were unwelcoming, and the owner was the rudest Italian ever, the “Big Boss” 🤣. Service was laughable, and the staff seemed lazy. Breakfast was meager: eggs, bacon, jam, and bread. Save your money and eat at the gas station. If you got up late, you had to hassle the staff to get the Big Boss’s approval to bring out more food. I strongly encourage people not to stay here. It’s a rest stop, not a vacation stay, and not worth your money or time.

The pool is beautiful, though it closes at 6PM, too early if you’re out seeing sights during the day and hope to swim when you get back. There’s good food, and dinner was especially good on Friday when they had an event. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Plan on taking a taxi, since buses don’t come this way.

We were there over the Xmas period, and the room stayed very warm and was clean. It was also very spacious. The staff were friendly, and there’s free parking, a tennis court, and a nice pool. Naples is a reasonable distance away if you have a car. For what we paid, I can’t imagine finding anything better.

The rooms are clean, and the pool is great. The food’s good too. But the rooms feel old and run down now, even though they probably would’ve seemed flash 25 years ago. On Friday and Saturday nights, the music stays loud past 12 am.
