I stayed at Hotel Darsena for a night and loved unwinding with that magical view of the bay. Lino was a wonderful host, really professional and friendly.

Lino, the manager, was kind and made sure we were well looked after, helping with the restaurant, boating, transport, and more. The hotel is in a traditional building in the middle of town, and it’s a great choice for a stay in Pozzuoli, near Napoli. I’d give the service 10 stars if I could. Do yourself a favour and book at hotel Darsena. Ciao.

We got a penthouse with amazing views, but it was too hot to have breakfast there. It really needs an umbrella. Everything in the room worked fine, and the owner was very friendly. We checked in very early in the morning, and reception was open, friendly, and showed us to our room. We finished with croissants and cappuccino on the street, just perfect.

The price made this an incredibly good-value stay, and we could leave our luggage for half a day after checkout. The central location was superb, and the external terrace or balcony gave us views across the harbor. We were greeted warmly and helped with our bags up to the top floor, and the breakfast was surprisingly good. It was a risk choice on our trip, but it worked out. A couple of drawbacks: there weren’t many power outlets, and the stairs were steep and numerous.

A really good family-run hotel, with a room spacious enough for two. It sits between the port, with its restaurants and bars, and the main square. The square gets packed on weekends and is a little calmer during the week, at least in April. A great base for exploring the area and region. I can definitely recommend it.
