Hotel San Giuseppe

The only thing I liked was the parking, with its automatic gate at the hotel entrance. Getting there on foot is difficult: although it's close to the center of Arcofelice, the hotel is on a fast road with no sidewalk. The price was absurd too. At 11 pm, he asked for 60 euros and lowered it to 50, but in my view it wasn't worth even 5 euros. The hotel felt like something out of the 1970s Soviet era. The reception man was black, spoke Italian poorly, and was truly unpleasant and rude. The rooms were horrible, with thick double wool blankets like grandma's and a CRT TV. The room and bathroom were old and dirty.

The Wi-Fi worked well, and the waiter was pleasant and efficient. Everything else about my stay was terrible. The hotel was filthy, some showers were broken and cramped, and the shutters were broken too. There were holes in the walls, and worst of all, some rooms had a serious cockroach infestation.

We really appreciated the affection and warm welcome from the owners and all the staff. They have so much heart and are very professional. It's a quiet place for a peaceful weekend or a longer stay, yet close to Pozzuoli center. Cumana is very nearby, the highway ramp is a moment away, and you can also get around by bus or other available transport. There's parking if you bring a car, too. Thank you all so much.

We had reserved four nights, but when we arrived the hotel was closed. Nobody let us know beforehand. We only heard from them after we called, by which point we had to scramble to find somewhere else to stay. They said they'd had a problem and were closed. For a hotel claiming three stars, this was a very serious and unacceptable situation.
