Casa Alpina Chezal

We stayed here with a group of friends, managing everything ourselves, and were very pleased. Based on our experience, I’d recommend the house for groups of friends, families, sports or religious associations, prayer groups, scouts, and similar groups. It can also suit anyone after a relaxing break with lovely mountain views, a short distance from busier Sestriere, while still having privacy in a simple, informal setting with what you need available. Borgata Chezal sits at around 1850 meters above sea level, in a beautiful, quiet spot about 5 km from Sestriere and Pragelato. It works well for skiing, walking, or just relaxing, and could be used year round. You can self-cater in the industrial kitchen, which has a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, slicer, and assorted dishes. Or you can ask Riccardo and Ilario about meal service. Out front there’s parking for a few cars, a wood-fired oven, and a pretty little church. Inside, the shared spaces include a dining room, a games room with table football and ping pong, and storage for skis and snow gear. There’s room for about 50 guests across the two upper floors. Most rooms sleep 6-8-10 people and have shared bathrooms, but there are also some double rooms, rooms with private bathrooms, and rooms for disabled guests. The house can be rented by smaller groups too, at reasonable rates.
