Grand Hotel Tritone

The staff made this stay unforgettable. Paolo, Luigi, Myriam, and Alfonso treated us like family and were happy to help with anything, big or small. The hotel itself feels like a hidden gem, with breathtaking views at every turn. Our room was gorgeous and kept in pristine condition. They had everything we needed and more. It's the best hotel I've ever stayed in, and I hope I can come back soon.

The whole night felt like something from a movie, a once in a lifetime experience, and the service was among the best I've ever had. The team put so much care and passion into it. On arrival, the striking interior and setting made us feel as if we'd stepped into a Wes Anderson movie. We were welcomed with a drink and shown to a room with a stunning view. The team paid attention to every detail and handled all our requests with care. The architecture and location are remarkable, with beautiful nature and warm hospitality all around. One little thing could be better: the elevators sometimes take a while, especially when it's busy.

Getting around was the main drawback. The hotel isn't walkable, and taxis were both expensive and hard to find. A trip within 2.5 miles cost about 40-50 Euro, so it adds up. After 4-5pm, you'll want a plan for getting back. Water taxis cost about the same and depend on conditions at the hotel port. Now that I know how to manage the commute, I'd definitely return. The setting is a geological wonder, with sweeping 180 degree views. There's an oceanfront pool where waves crash nearby, plus a restaurant and a spot where you can jump into the sea for a swim, which is unusual for this area. My ocean view terrace junior suite was clean and well supplied with closet space, drawers, good linens, towels, and robes. The bathroom was small and older, but had great water pressure. Breakfast was delicious, served on a covered open terrace overlooking the sea, with indoor seating available too. Service was friendly at reception, housekeeping, the pool, and the restaurants.

The views and staff were phenomenal, and the room had a wonderful balcony with a perfect sunset view. I loved exploring the hotel's halls and its multiple elevators, which connect different sections and make the place feel like a treasure hunt. There are even caves cut into the Amalfi cliffs. The architecture and design are classic, and the whole property felt enchanting. It's the best piece of real estate I've seen anywhere. A must stay if you're in Praiano or on the Amalfi Coast. So fun.
