Numa Florence Palazzo San Niccolò

The refund they offered never came, even though I followed up at least five times. After I complained about the room, they promised me 15% back, but I never received it. I've never left a review this negative before, but I hope other people don't get caught out. We were really disappointed. The room looked nothing like the photos, and I don't consider it a four-star hotel. An Airbnb would have been a much better choice at half the price. It was my first time paying this much for a room, which makes it all the more disappointing. Don't let the good reviews fool you. I'd warn people against booking at NUMA.

The cleanliness, location, and garden area were excellent, but we couldn't get proper rest, and the next day felt like torture. I'm unhappy with the stay. There was a connecting door to another room, and we could hear the guests' voices and conversations as if they were right beside us. It was so hard to rest that we lost 2-3 hours of sleep. We contacted reception on WhatsApp. They said they'd warn the other guests, then pointed out the earplugs in the room and suggested we use them 😂. The actual problem was the poor sound insulation. That door needs to be closed or properly insulated so both rooms are soundproof.

We had a great stay in room 207. It was clean and pleasant, and the staff were very welcoming. The place was fairly quiet, close enough to walk to the center, and a great deal for the price. A good pick if you're on a tighter budget and expect to be out exploring a lot. Highly recommend.

Numa made the whole stay feel effortless, from the messages before I arrived to the communication during and after. The location was ideal for me: about a 10-minute walk to the center, in a more local area just outside it. The place is gorgeous and tastefully done, with the feel of a lovely boutique hotel. Honestly, one of my best hotel stays. I hope every future stay is this good. 10/10, highly recommend.
