The food was a real highlight, with a set menu of local dishes to choose from and a bar for salads and starters. Breakfast was great too, and after skiing the sauna was lovely. La Montanara is cosy and family run, with clean rooms and super friendly staff. A definite 5-star experience for us.

I loved the food, the cleanliness, and how professional the staff were. I picked this hotel for a ski vacation, and it's become one of my favorite places. I caused a problem myself, but the owner helped me sort it all out, even though he didn't have to. I'll always come back.

I liked the hotel and its staff, and the food was nice with a good selection. My room was small, with a window facing a tiny courtyard, and it was cold in September because the heating wasn't on. The spa area was nice too, though the sauna was out of order.

I really appreciated the free afternoon snack, and dinner was huge and very tasty, four courses. Breakfast was okay. The rooms are on the small side but clean, and I missed having a small fridge. I was there with my 2 y.o. son, and found it a very nice family hotel. The staff were friendly and pleasant, nothing was a problem. There's a big car park right outside, and the ski center is two minutes away by car, or you can take the special train. I can recommend this friendly place!

The regional food was delicious, with plenty to choose from, and the service was at a high level. It's a well-managed hotel and worth recommending. The bathrooms are the weak point: some look dated, from the 70s. They're clean and okay, but the shower cubicles are very small. It depends on the room, since some have new bathrooms.
