I was so relieved when the receptionist told me at breakfast that my bag had been found and the bus driver would bring it to the hotel. My IDs, ski passes, and cash were inside, and thankfully nothing was missing. I had left it on a bus and felt helpless trying to reach the company, since nobody there spoke English. Christina, the hotel manager, promised right away to call them the next day and help me. She really cares about her guests, speaks fluent English, and also knows the slopes well as a ski instructor. Her advice on which runs suited me was great. Hotel Sole is well set up for skiing, with heated boot storage, equipment for rent, and ski buses between the hotel and slopes. I had a great stay, and highly recommend it for the service and staff who go out of their way to help.

The stay was okay, but we had very noisy neighbours with loud kids, and the hotel did nothing to make things calmer. Breakfast options were very limited, and the bread was dry. When something ran out, the waiters didn't bring more unless we asked several times.

My elderly parents booked quickly, hoping for a peaceful New Year's retreat, but the hotel was mostly full of families with noisy children, so they struggled to rest. They checked out early and politely asked for a small discount because of the disruption. The owner said guests are told about the hotel's atmosphere before booking, but they hadn't been told. He also described not charging them a penalty for leaving early as a favor, which didn't feel like a professional way to handle a real concern. It's disappointing that the hotel didn't give accurate information about the atmosphere and then handled their complaint so poorly.

The rooms are large and very clean, and the location is perfect. The staff were really helpful. It’s a family hotel rated 3 stars, but the facilities and conditions feel like 4 stars.

A cosy, clean place that worked well for our family trip, and the price was good too. It could use a little modernising, but we still really liked it.
