There are lovely places close by that you can get to by bus, bike, or on foot. The pools were nice, and you can swim in the lake too. Parking was easy, the views were amazing, and it was quiet with no church bells.

I only used the pool, and the condition was worrying. The sides were dirty, with cracked tiles, and the small pool lining was coming loose and hadn't been flattened before the steps. Neither spa was working. A hosepipe ran through the large pool, across the path and into a spa. This feels dangerous for children and shouldn't be allowed.

For the price, it's okay, though the pool is about all there is to do. You can get to it across the road through an underground tunnel. Sarnico's center is around a 20-minute bike ride along the Riva factory. The hotel itself feels dated, with an unattractive terrace, basic food, and house wine that isn't what you'd hope for in Italy.

The rooms are clean, the service is good, and breakfast was pretty decent. You also get free access to the swimming pool by the lake. The hotel feels old and dated, but I think it's good value for the price.

The bathroom, bed, and desk were all fine, and the price is low right now. The room was cold, though, and noise carries badly. The facilities are old.
