The grounds are full of greenery and kept in great shape, with lots of space to enjoy a sunny day. It feels wonderfully secluded, almost like a little paradise. Our room was comfortable and laid out well, though it needed a dehumidifier to deal with the damp. Alberto and his wife were warm and helpful, and made a generous, healthy breakfast. Their two lovely, sweet dogs also kept watch at night.

The breakfast was good, but our stay left us disappointed. We were traveling with a newborn and arrived just 10 minutes past the 9:00 checkout time. The owner immediately called attention to the delay and apologized to the cleaner on the phone in front of us, saying, “Be patient, it happens...” I’ll leave it at that. We also had a problem with the electric car charging. I wouldn’t recommend asking for a charger: when we checked out, we were billed extra for electricity through a 2 kW outlet, at a higher per-kWh rate than fast charging stations. We were told the house’s photovoltaic system “program” showed 36 kW used, costing €20. But when I checked the app later, the actual use looked to be around 20 kWh. It seems the host estimated it by watching the battery percentage on my car’s screen when we arrived and left. The estimate apparently used a car model with a bigger battery than mine, which explained why they’d asked me to confirm the model. We only figured this out afterward. It’s hard to see how we could have charged 36 kW in under 10 hours on 220 V. At the time, we trusted them. The owners did make us feel at home, but they smiled very little and could be intrusive. With more transparency and a warmer manner, our experience would have been much better. If you don’t like dealing with people, find another job.

The rooms felt welcoming and had all the comforts we needed, and the owners were very friendly. Breakfast included plenty of both sweet and savory choices. I’d definitely recommend it.

We found the villa lovely, the prices good, and the breakfast excellent. The owners were so kind and helpful that we didn’t feel like leaving. I recommend it.
