The location is especially convenient for visiting Porto Cesareo and Gallipoli. It’s a charming spot tucked into the old town’s narrow lanes, only a few steps from the Sanctuary of San Giuseppe da Copertino, with convenient parking close by. Our room was spacious and clean, and had everything we needed, especially the fridge and coffee machine with pods. Tommaso and Salvatore were very kind and happy to answer our questions. Great value for money. We’d definitely come back ;-)

Whenever I visit Salento, Palazzo del Salto is one of my favorite B&Bs to return to. It sits in the heart of Copertino in a beautiful historic building, and its cleanliness and friendly welcome make it a place I really value.

The location is excellent for getting to Lecce or the coast, including Porto Cesareo and the Nardò marina, and the price is very good for the quality. The apartment is spacious, nicely finished, and well cared for. The owners were extremely kind, and Salvatore was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended, top rating from me. We’ll return. ☺️👏

My wife and I are modest people, but after adding up what happened during our stay, this is where we landed. Here’s a brief account in the hope it’s constructive: We had arranged parking with the owner for when we arrived, but it had been given to other guests by then. At 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, construction workers started taking down scaffolding and the B&B owner didn’t step in. We also had to ask for towels because none were in the room. Breakfast isn’t offered, which makes the B&B unusual. A friend had already paid for our first two nights; we paid €60 for the third night, without a receipt, and again, without breakfast.

Palazzo del Salto is a beautiful, elegant place in a historic alley, and the owners made us feel very welcome. The service is top-notch, with care taken to meet each guest’s needs and make sure nothing is missing. Its strategic location makes it easy to get around day to day and explore the wonderful places in Salento. A must-try!
