Hotel Premeno

I wasn’t keen on the bread at breakfast, and there weren’t many food choices. The breakfast wasn’t very good for me.

A huge thank you to HOTEL PREMENO in PREMENO for the kindness shown to our group during our two-night organized trip to the heights above LAKE MAJEUR in ITALY, in Piedmont. One of us suffered an acute, very painful joint injury during the day, and the hotel reception team went far beyond what we expected. When we arrived, a manager immediately offered to drive the injured person to the emergency room in a nearby city in his own car. He also guided us at the hospital and helped us make our first contact with reception there. The next morning, Fernanda sent someone to a pharmacy for an ointment said to help with joint injuries, and wouldn’t accept repayment. Soon after, she kindly brought a tray to the room with an infusion known to ease inflammatory pain. Fernanda kept supplying ice packs for the injured joint throughout the day, and even offered a cane so the injured person could carry on with the trip to Northern Italy as best they could. We’re deeply grateful for all that care. We highly recommend HOTEL PREMENO in PREMENO to other visitors to LAC MAJEUR. They’re very kind people.

Time feels like it’s barely moved here, and it’s a little out of the way. Still, the bed was comfortable, everything was clean, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the staff were exemplary. That earns five stars from me. :)

Our room was clean, though the hotel itself felt old and worn. We were there with a tour group, and I didn’t feel welcome. Breakfast was okay. The bread was tasty, but the scrambled eggs had gone cold. Dinner was a real letdown: everything was lukewarm and served without care.
