The people are nice, but the place is horrible. This is a very low-level hotel: there’s no minibar in the room, the TV is high-tech in name only and doesn’t work, and the bed feels like sleeping on the floor. My brothers, run away!!!

The setting is peaceful, surrounded by nature and beautiful old buildings, and the lake is only about 15 minutes away. We stayed just one night, but the room, breakfast, and staff were all amazing. I’d stay again.

The rooms and breakfast were okay, and it was clean with friendly staff. You can tell the place has seen more glamorous days. Still, it’s good value for a stay near Lago Maggiore.
