Marcello was a fantastic host, always happy to help with whatever we needed. Our spacious room had everything: a bedroom, kitchen, dining area, and lounge. Casa Rachele is right in the city centre, with shops, cafes, and restaurants nearby, and the port and train station are walkable. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Torre Del Greco.
We spent a month at Casa di Rachele last July and had a stellar stay. Torre’s shopping area is right nearby, and both the Vesuviana and State Trains are within walking distance. Marcello was pleasant, helpful, and very accommodating. He answered our questions quickly with good advice and often checked in during the month. We’ll definitely stay at Casa di Rachele again when we return to Torre, and highly recommend it to other visitors.
We’ve just come back from ten nights at Casa Rachele. The flat was lovely, spotless, and tastefully decorated, with clear care put into the renovation and its details. Marcello and Rachele were always available and very accommodating. It’s in the centre of Torre del Greco, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and the Vesuviana trains about a ten-minute walk away, taking you everywhere. The street below is busy and can be noisy, though the well-insulated windows keep most sound out when closed. There’s air conditioning throughout for hot weather. We’d happily recommend Casa Rachele and will be back soon. Thanks, Piera, James and baby Leo.
Casa Rachele sits on Torre del Greco’s main street, among the shops and bars. The nearby station is between Naples and Pompeii, making it an ideal base for cultural trips. Herculaneum Archaeological site, king Ferdinand’s Villa Favorita, and public gardens with a majestic sea view are also a short walk away. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Marcello was caring, knowledgeable, and quick to respond. We came from London for a long weekend at the footsteps of Vesuvius.
The apartment is right in the centre of this busy, densely populated town, with traffic and shops open at all hours. Everything we needed was downstairs. From the front balcony we could look over the main street, shops, coffee lounges, and bars; the rear one faced a market selling fruit and vegetables, some clothes, and even a pizzeria. Inside, the one-bedroom apartment was spotless, with a large queen-size bed, a separate kitchenette/family room, a large bathroom, and integrated air conditioning. There are two small balconies. Transport is close: about a ten-minute walk to the Circumnvesuviana for Naples, Herculaneum, Pompeii, and Sorrento, a short stroll to the port for ferries to Capri, and buses to the Amalfi coast. Marcello welcomed us, spoke English, explained the local area, and was always available to help. We stayed for a month in June 2022. Thanks for your hospitality, Marcello.
