When Marina stopped us rudely in the street to ask for extra money for a few towels, we finally told her about the problems. Our vacation had already been a nightmare. We needed extra towels for a 30-day stay so they could dry in time, but her father asked if we change towels daily at home, which I found nasty. We didn't want to start the vacation badly, so we hadn't said anything earlier. When I told Marina about the mess we'd found, she blamed the cleaning lady, saying she doesn't live there and never checks the rooms. That was another great answer. Several things shown on Booking.com weren't available. The kitchen items pictured looked unhealthy and useless, so we brought our own. There was no toaster or electric kettle, and we never had one. The toiletries amounted to a quarter-inch of hand soap, as shown in the picture. We arrived on Sunday, when all the stores were closed, and had no soap for the shower. There was also a ripped tablecloth. I messaged Marina from the airport because no one had told us what to do when leaving. We left the door unlocked with the keys on the table, put back the torn tablecloth, and gave away the one we bought and used. In my message I wrote that maybe we didn't look like people who matched her status, but that clothes don't make the person and you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. She replied only that it was a misunderstanding and wished us a happy new year. She didn't seem to care at all. I wouldn't suggest this place for a long vacation. I'd seen many good reviews, but none for long stays. Maybe I'm one of the few, or maybe she didn't like people with a USA passport. That's just a guess.
