The apartment was just like the photos, clean, with a large bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. Staff were welcoming and helpful. There’s a C1 bus stop right outside, and I Buon Gustai is 50 meters away, with reasonable prices and ready-made food among its offerings. We walked 15 minutes to Marina Grande and 5 minutes to Spiaggia del Postino. My wife and I also toured the whole island on the free bus service, enjoying its breathtaking scenery. I’d read a very negative review by Mrs. Brunella Esposito after paying the booking deposit, and I was worried since I couldn’t cancel. But we had a very positive holiday on this beautiful island, with friendly people, and that experience made me rethink those negative reviews. I keep seeing inaccurate ones and don’t think that’s fair to the managers. I have to disagree with the person who wrote about Mr. Malagodi: I had two landline numbers and a mobile number, so they didn’t seem nonexistent.

The kitchen is separate from the sleeping area and has what you need to cook, while the Wi-Fi is fast and works well. The location is convenient for Postino Beach (Cala del Pozzo Vecchio), and the bus stop is right at the property entrance. The one drawback is weak cell phone coverage nearby.

For €65 a night, I feel I could have found a much better place, so I won’t be back at Casa di Cirro, though I do love Procida and think it’s a paradise. I was in the “economy” studio, on the ground floor facing straight onto the street. It wasn’t cleaned properly, the shower curtain was moldy, the furniture was very old, and there was no bidet. The front door was a little hard to close. I called the landlord but got no answer. For one night it was manageable, but if I’d stayed longer, I would have left.

The room felt cozy and was clean, and the kitchen was large and well equipped. The location was a real disappointment. There wasn’t a contact person, and the number listed on Booking.com only gets answered sometimes.
