The gardens are lovely and very well maintained, but the apartments made the stay miserable. Ours was dated and run down, with awful cleanliness: there was so much sand inside you could make a beach, damp on the doors, and dirty underwear from a previous guest tucked away in the main bedroom by the plug sockets. The toilet took about 15 pushes to flush. Since we arrived at night, I asked reception if it could be fixed, but was told nothing could be done until morning. When I asked if there was a shared toilet to use overnight, the receptionist shrugged and offered no solution. The lighting inside was poor, leaving the place dark and miserable at night. I asked to move apartments and was told another wouldn't be better, even though ours was supposedly a premium apartment. The property is in the middle of nowhere, so you'll need a car, and there's very little food or drink on site. We checked out just 18 hours into a supposed four-night stay, and nobody even asked why. The one upside is that several beautiful hotels are nearby for not much more money.

The place is especially nice when the sun is out, with a swimming pool and the sea close by. The bar service was very kind, and the croissant and tea were good. Staff were helpful and kind throughout. We had several rainy days, and the ceiling in our apartment leaked. Wifi was weak in the apartment, and the dryer wasn't working. The washing machine was free to use.

We've stayed at Baia Delle Palme twice in one year and are already planning to come back a third time. We loved the surroundings, architecture, and pool area, and the top-floor apartments were lovely. Highly recommend!

The nearby beach was just what we wanted, like heaven, and we enjoyed the tranquil, mind-my-own-business atmosphere. The apartment was quite nice and spacious, though a bit outdated. Service was basic, which seemed right for this kind of resort. The cleanliness seemed adequate to us. We did find the final cleaning arrangement a little strange, but we knew about it and had factored it in.

The pool and surroundings were nice, and the hotel itself was good. What left us unimpressed was how the place was run. We were charged €5 each for basic beach towels, and my direct booking came with about €70 in cleaning fees. Even so, I was told to clean the kitchen myself, including the hob and dishes, and take the rubbish out. The waste area was very far from our room and inaccessible anyway. It felt like there were hidden costs or conditions everywhere. At the same rates, I'm sure you can find better places nearby.
