B&B Villa Grazia

The only little problem I found was the very low water pressure in the shower, which seems like an easy fix. There's no Wi-Fi, though maybe that's a plus: it's really peaceful and the phone signal is good. The rooms were spacious and clean, with everything we needed. We stayed a week and had a wonderful time in this gorgeous villa, surrounded by plants and trees, with a lovely porch for meals. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and serve excellent fresh pastries for breakfast. I'd choose it again if I came back to the area.

From the outside, the villa is very beautiful, but inside the furniture is old. The bed and pillow need replacing, since the springs are coming out. Cleaning felt superficial. For what it costs, the bed and breakfast aren't worth it. I stayed one night.

The owners were helpful, but I think they still have a lot to learn about hospitality. We chose the B&B because of the good Booking.com reviews and photos, then found the reality quite different. It's a 1970s-style villa in a poorly kept setting, with lots of mosquitoes. Our room was very small, although it did have air conditioning. Over our three days there, nobody cleaned the room or changed the towels. Breakfast was very poor, just one croissant per person, nothing like the pictures on Booking. And the sea isn't very close. I wouldn't recommend it.

The host is friendly and helpful, and makes you feel at home. It's a peaceful spot for relaxing and going on pleasant walks. You can reach the beach on foot, though we chose the public beach. Marina di Taranto is about a five-minute drive away, with crystal-clear water and lovely colors.
