I asked for two small extras and they were provided at no additional cost. Raffaella, the girl I spoke with, was very kind and helpful. The place is very clean and well kept, with minimalist furnishings, impeccable looks, and lovely Puglia details. The spacious tub is a real gem, and the touchscreen makes it easy to use. Highly recommended.

Overrated. They charge an exorbitant price for a very modest room presented as an apartment. The carparo ceiling is flaking onto the bed. The bathroom’s heated towel rail is completely rusty, the shower and bidet leak, and there’s no hot water at the sink. The advertising is misleading because the room doesn’t match the website description at all. There’s no contact person, receptionist, or housekeeper. The guest is completely ignored.

The mini apartment’s style and furnishings are a wow, especially the large hot tub in the entrance, and the location near the castle is excellent. But street noise carries late into the night. It’s on the ground floor, with the bedroom in the basement and a window at street level. Poor ventilation makes it stuffy in summer even with the AC. The bathroom is upstairs from the bedroom, and those stairs are dangerous at night, especially without a handrail. It’s in the entrance hall, partly hidden by a wall, but there’s no privacy from your partner because it’s in a passageway. A very awkward setup for a new couple. I’m sorry to point out these problems, since the property managers are very kind, but the structural issues would keep me from returning.

There are some basic things missing from this pleasant, comfortable accommodation. Most of all, there are no curtains to give guests privacy. The bed linens seem a little shoddy, and there are no bathroom hangers for bath towels. The directions are missing too, which makes arrival more complicated since the place is on an internal street you can’t reach by car.
