I had booked a year ahead and paid a €400 deposit, but the owner repeatedly told me to go to hell, hung up on me, and then canceled the reservation, blaming COVID and citing Puglia regional decrees that don't exist. I won't go into more detail, but perhaps it was because we were coming from Milan? I never actually stayed at the property, and now I'm glad I didn't. Booking.com had to refund me, and I'm grateful. I only gave one star so I could post this review; it doesn't seem worth even half a star. If the day is a good one...

The place was dated, poorly equipped and smelled bad. The owner was really unpleasant. After refusing to check out, he charged us a string of ridiculous fees when I left a negative review on Booking.com: air conditioning that we'd agreed would be a flat rate, parking, and an extra day's room use because we rinsed our feet with the garden water after checking out at 9:00 AM and before leaving at 1:00 PM. A truly awful experience. Stay away from these bad people. I'd give zero stars if I could.

We had already paid by card when we arrived, but the manager was rude, arrogant and argumentative. He showed up without the required mask and spent several minutes wanting to check us in before showing us the room. After my wife saw it, we pointed out that its size and view didn't match the website photos, which claimed 20 square meters and a sea view. The manager wouldn't accept our genuine concerns, verbally attacked my wife several times and told us to leave, even though he had already taken payment for our nine-day stay. We never ended up staying, thankfully. He's dishonest and prejudiced against people who share their opinions about the property.

The place was filthy and unbearable with a sewer smell. The faucets were covered in mold, limescale and rust, with a risk of salmonella. The mattresses and chairs sagged, and the sofas were filthy. The beach next door has a sewer outlet going straight into the sea. When we arrived, they tried to add €500 to the extra package we'd agreed on before departure. Breakfast was awful, and don't even ask for another coffee. I gave one star to publish this review; it isn't worth half a star. Highly not recommended.
