Sud Hotel

Dinner was a real highlight: a restaurant-level meal with an appetizer, first and second courses, and dessert. The waiter checked whether everything was okay, and wine and water were included. The staff were all lovely. When my charging cable broke, someone even drove me to the next town so I could buy another one. I stayed four nights on half board in early June 2025, and I’d happily come back anytime. My room was modern and very nice, with a great shower and easy-to-adjust air conditioning. The beach was right across the street, and the hotel rented parasols and loungers for less than usual. I can’t think of anything negative, and the price for what you get is superb.

We were cycling along the south coast and stayed for one night. The staff were friendly and incredibly accommodating, even storing our bikes though we hadn’t told them in advance. The room had loads of space, a big balcony overlooking the crystal-blue sea, and a luxurious bathroom with a great shower. Dinner was fabulous, the local wine was delicious, and breakfast had a good selection. I’d travel here for another stay.

The restaurant terrace looks out over the sea, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed at Hotel Sud Marina di Pulsano, right on the beach in Marina di Pulsano, and found the location perfect. There’s free parking and wifi as well. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone after a relaxing beach holiday in Puglia.

The clear sea is wonderful, and the receptionist was so funny that she even tried to learn Czech. She also waited for us when we arrived late for check-in, so the second star is for her. The parking is free, but really small, and an umbrella with two sunbeds costs €16 a day. You can pre-order lunch and dinner, but they’re very expensive. Our room had no sea view and was really small and dark. Breakfast was poor: just cereal and yogurt, croissants, which were really good except for the time they were totally burnt, and buns. Some people asked for cheese and ham, but nobody spoke even a little English, so we couldn’t tell whether it was free. Get up early if you want a glass, as there are only a few, and otherwise you’ll be drinking from plastic cups. Thanks, but never again.
