Each room or flat has its own setting, and the hosts are incredibly helpful. They also know the local restaurants well, so ask them for suggestions. If you’re into biking or adventure surfing, there are some surprisingly good spots within an hour’s drive.

A super nice, comfortable place that really feels like a home away from home. They gave us all the information we needed on what to visit and where to find the best food. I truly recommend it.

It’s clean and well kept, but I’d only stay here for a few hours before moving on. The room is basic, with a double bed taking up almost all the space. You can just get out of bed and reach the door, or walk six or seven steps to the bathroom. The shower has almost no tray, just a drain hole in the middle of the bathroom floor.

The mosquitoes were awful, and there’s no mosquito net. The only light and fresh air come from a large window in the room. The bathroom is extremely small and has no ventilation or even an extractor fan. On the plus side, the small studio was clean, with exposed stone walls, a small fridge, electric stove, dishes and cutlery, TV, air conditioning, daily linen changes, and a comfortable bed.

The welcome felt unique and special, with that warmth you find in this magical region. The atmosphere brought back the pace of earlier times, along with the smells of bread and typical Apulian treats.
