We were a group of 21, all families with children aged up to four, which could be a hotelier's nightmare. The owners were always kind and helpful, and made us feel so looked after and comfortable. When we went to Pistoia Zoo, they even asked what everyone wanted in their sandwiches and made one for each of us. The farmhouse has been renovated with care while keeping its original character. There's a big garden with a play area for children, and the rooms have access to a shared kitchenette. Meals are served in a spacious dining room. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of fresh, quality choices, and dinner was just as good, made by the owners with local ingredients. A really lovely place. We'll be back!

I didn't stay at the property, but I got to enjoy the surroundings, the food, and all the lovely smells. Most of all, I met Benedetta and Chiara, along with Simona from the riding stables and their helpers. They put on a summer camp for children even with all the difficulties this year. The atmosphere was joyful, professional, simple, and welcoming. These SuperWomen have such a natural way about them, and brought a bit of healthy happiness to us. I highly recommend them!

Down in the beautiful countryside below Montalbano, this recently renovated farmhouse has welcoming rooms and lovely hosts. The food is excellent, and they offer tours of the farm. There's also a riding stable with horseback rides and a great pony school.

It's surrounded by greenery, with horses and other farm animals right there. The setting is scenic, and the welcome was impeccable, with very helpful staff. Florence, Pisa, Lucca, and Pistoia are all nearby, and getting there by bus or car is easy.
