I'm posting this again about a year later. The two hosts were kind, but the stay felt overpriced for what was provided. Our rooms were a little cold, and dinner wasn't included. Given how remote the place is, I felt it should have been. What we paid extra for was a nearly cold plate of pasta and a little cheese, and breakfast was very basic: coffee with milk, a slice of cake, and two small pieces of bread. The POS wasn't working either, so I paid €220 in cash for one night, two rooms and two people, and received no receipt. They should be careful not to ask too much of their guests.

Maria, the owner, was exceptionally kind and ready to answer questions, and the property was clean and well cared for. It's tucked into green hills near Pistoia but easy to get to, making it a lovely place for a quiet family stay. The food uses quality local ingredients, especially the olive oil made on site. A place I'd definitely visit.

We came with our 9-year-old son, and Maria and Alessandra made us feel welcome right away. After one phone call, they set aside a room without asking for a deposit. They even prepared dinner just for us, using fresh vegetables from their garden, with delicious meat and appetizers alongside a lovely Chianti. The room was bright, spacious, and spotless. This enchanting place and its hosts have stayed in our hearts. We plan to come back. Thank you, Maria and Sandra.
