Martina is the chef to know here. The pasta she made was out of this world! I’ll come back whenever I’m in Toscana.

My wife and I arrived on a Monday night, about half an hour before closing. The waiter hurried to get our order in before the kitchen shut, and the food they served was maybe the best I’ve ever tasted. If I’ve had a better meal, I can’t recall it. I ordered the “coniglio,” which I believe is rabbit. If that doesn’t qualify as a Michelin Star meal, I can’t imagine what would.

The fiorentina and filet were excellent at this very nice trattoria.

I’ve loved this place for nearly four decades. It’s been family run since 1963, with a wonderful wine list, marvellous meats, and warm service and welcome. Try for a table in the main room or the garden, rather than the room closest to the road.
