Villa Desideria B&B

We'd happily book this place again. During our six days, the hostess was fantastic and always there for questions or requests. The property is clean and carefully maintained, with thoughtful decor and furnishings throughout. It's a little out of the way, so having a rental car is essential, though restaurants and the main road towards Cagliari or Villasimius are only a quick drive away. Guests can use a large shared fridge with a freezer, and borrow beach umbrellas for free. Just be aware there's plenty of animal life on the property: two dogs, seven cats, chickens, and a few peacocks.

The pool was a real highlight, and Andrea kept it in immaculate condition. We were impressed by how comfortable and peaceful the villa was, especially at night when it was quiet enough to get a proper rest. Alessandra and Andrea clearly put a lot of passion into looking after the property and their guests, always making us feel welcome and at home. The rooms were spotless and thoughtfully furnished down to the smallest details. Its beautiful setting on the Sardinian coast is also well placed, about a half-hour drive from Costa Rei or Villasimius. We'd recommend it without hesitation and plan to return next year. We keep coming back to Villa Desideria for a relaxing weekend by the sea in Sardinia. Our favorite beach is only a short drive away, and both the room and the services are always impeccable. We felt a real connection with Alessandra and Andrea from our first visit. The aperitif and Sardinian dinner are a must for us, so we make sure to have them every year. We've stayed at the villa several times, both with and without children, and would recommend it for all ages. There are lots of quiet corners to unwind in, and the garden is full of flowers, water features, and little lights. The whole property is beautifully furnished and cared for, with comfortable rooms and a well-maintained pool. Each morning, they serve a delicious breakfast in the garden with fresh coffee, cake, and other treats. The welcoming owners make you feel at home. There are small cats and dogs at the villa, while rabbits, chickens, and peacocks live in a little barn next door. It's between Cagliari and Villasimius and easy to reach by car.
