B&B L' Antica Macina

The owners were incredibly friendly and communicative, and the farmhouse is decorated in a distinctive way. We enjoyed the breakfast view over the mountain. Still, our stay was in the room opposite the kitchen, and other rooms may be nicer. We could hear water rushing through the pipes in our room whenever anyone in the hotel used the toilet or shower. It was loud enough to wake both of us. The shower also turned very cold after about three minutes. There’s no public transport, so we walked 7 km to the nearest town. There’s no WiFi, mobile reception is weak, and we couldn’t pay for breakfast by card. With the signal cutting out, paying by PayPal was a struggle.

The breakfast was excellent, and the hosts were very friendly. It’s a beautiful, super neat and rustic B&B, and everything was very clean. You almost feel like you’ve gone back in time. I can only recommend it.

We had a pre-Christmas lunch with the family at this lovely spot above Quiliano. Andrea and Roberta were so kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere was romantic and peaceful. It’s definitely somewhere to spend a relaxing bit of time.

It was peaceful there, with lots of flowers and fresh air. Roberta and Andrea welcomed us so warmly. The room was cozy, spotless, and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was excellent, especially the ricotta cake. I regret not asking for the recipe! Everything was freshly prepared for us. Thank you for being so hospitable.
