Residence Meublè Cortina

It took a little effort to find, but this B&B was excellent, quiet, and immaculate. The owner was very friendly, and there’s a shuttle bus to the airport, about 10 minutes away, for a small charge.

The hotel is outside the city, but getting around is easy, and there’s a hotel car park. The rooms are clean, quiet, well designed, and functional. There are lots of nice places to eat and drink nearby. Just don’t expect much from the included breakfast, it’s only a croissant and coffee. Aircraft noise can be bothersome sometimes because it’s so close to the airport. I also got the impression the hotel employee wasn’t enjoying life much, or didn’t like working there. His behavior was bad throughout.

The beds were uncomfortable, with springs you could feel, the WiFi didn’t work, and the AC was weak. The room also didn’t match the online description: there were three of us looking for three twin beds, and the listing said four twin beds, but we got one single and one double. When we arrived, the owner was incredibly rude and refused to give us the listed number of beds. Update: judging by the owner’s response below, he’s incredibly aggressive. I wouldn’t recommend interacting with this man.

I rarely write reviews, but our experience here was top notch. The couple running the hotel made us feel welcome and at home from arrival to departure, and their hospitality was unbelievable. They were also very friendly and helpful with questions about the surrounding area. It’s close enough to Venice, and Verona and the surrounding cities are a drive away. I’d definitely recommend it and come back!
