Le Gemelle Boutique Hotel

Terrible customer service is the main thing I’ll remember. The hotel cancelled our booking after we were already in Italy, just days before the stay. The original booking had been made seven months ahead. The first issue was apparently caused by Booking.com, but hotel staff didn’t answer the phone eight times, or reply to my WhatsApp message or email when I tried to sort out payment by phone. We then booked through trivago, where six rooms were still showing online, and sent management screenshots. The money was taken, but the stay was cancelled because they apparently had no rooms left. We had to accept the only option available, a hotel 40 minutes away from the one we had planned for. The manager complained about the inconvenience of arranging that other hotel and the extra costs. I can’t rate the rooms or location because we never stayed there.

My mum stayed here at the beginning of October, and everything was perfect. The hotel was clean and quiet, and the staff were superb.

The sea is only a few streets away, and the neighborhood has some good restaurants and supermarkets. It’s a really nice area, and the hotel is so calm, with beautiful, clean rooms. The little garden jacuzzi is a lovely extra, and the crew are very kind.

The rooms were really comfortable, the staff were kind, and breakfast was good. There’s also a nice open-air jacuzzi.
