Nagelehof

A lovely place to unwind with the family, especially if you love animals. The two owners of this small farm are so friendly and do everything they can to make guests comfortable. It’s always clean and tidy, and we’re sad every time we leave. We come almost every winter and already look forward to the next visit.

There’s a small family ski area across from the property, and our family learned to ski there. Shops are nearby too. This has been our fifth visit, and we always feel comfortable. Everything is clean and tidy, and the hosts are friendly and happy to help or offer advice whenever you ask. Perfect for us.

The hosts were very welcoming and glad to share tips for outings. Their farm is on a sunny hillside overlooking the valley, and it’s only a few minutes by car to essentials like the SPAR supermarket, a restaurant, and a toboggan run. You do need a car. We stayed four nights in March at Nagelehof, two adults and one child, and the two-bedroom apartment was fantastic: spacious, clean, and very well equipped. Our daughter’s room had fairytale bedding and children’s books on the bedside table. Everything felt thoughtful and lovingly prepared. There’s a great playground, kids can help with the barn chores, and we were given fresh milk and eggs. We’ll definitely be back.

We felt at home, not like guests at all. On the second floor, we had our own separate space, with a fully equipped kitchen, table and corner seating, and a sofa. The large bedroom had a comfortable soft bed made of natural wood. There was also a shower, toilet, and bidet, plus access to a large balcony with a beautiful view. It’s a well-built house.
