The breakfast that came with the room was excellent for both quality and variety, right up there with the LHW and SLH properties we’ve stayed at. Service was attentive and met expectations. We had dinner at the restaurant once and thought it was just okay. For the price, I’d go to a nearby local restaurant instead, about a 10-minute drive away. We stayed in a junior suite with good hill views and plenty of space. The hotel is remote, which suits anyone looking to get away from the city, and it has a nice pool and olive grove. The room itself was very nice, though at around $1k a night I expected more bathroom counter space by the double sink. There was room to extend it on either side. We also asked for a second luggage rack, but they had none, which felt odd at this price. I’d rate the hotel around 4.5-5 stars and would recommend it for a getaway.

We loved our April 13-17, 2026 stay at Pieve Aldina. The food was incredible, and the breakfast spread was the best we’ve ever had. The grounds and views were gorgeous, and the facilities and amenities were terrific. Fabio, the GM, was warm and engaging. We also really enjoyed chatting with the staff, especially Tanguy and Tommaso, who were friendly, informative, and helpful with recommendations. The location was terrific, too. Everything felt first rate, and we’d love to come back. We can’t recommend Pieve Aldina enough.

The cooking class was a highlight. The chef was fantastic, and we picked up so many useful cooking tips. We also felt lucky to get an upgrade, and the room was breathtaking. At Pieve Aldina, the staff remembered our names and even our orders, which made us feel especially welcome. The property is beautiful, with stunning grounds and service that exceeded our expectations. We fell in love with the Chianti area and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Ten out of ten.

We found Pieve Aldina peaceful enough to feel far away from everything. It’s a really picturesque place, and the room was spacious, thoughtfully designed, and modern with touches of Tuscan character. The staff were attentive and helpful in a way that felt natural. Breakfast was fresh and very good. If you want somewhere in Tuscany that feels special without making a fuss about it, this is a great choice.

The reception team took care of every request I had, including arranging specific flowers and wine in our room for my fiancé. They were amazing. Everyone was friendly, from reception and the waitstaff to the head chef, Niccolo Pini, who led our pasta cooking class. Chef Niccolo and his sous chef were real professionals, funny and welcoming. The property was breathtaking and beautifully maintained. Thank you, Pieve Aldina, for such a memorable stay. Amazing job!
