Tenuta CorteDomina

The restroom incident was the worst part of a visit that had already felt unwelcoming. I asked twice where the washroom was and was told to turn right, without any more detail. I ended up in the wrong single-stall bathroom. While I was inside, a staff member tried the door, then spoke to me harshly for using it. I apologized several times. When I later explained that the directions were unclear and there were no signs, they raised their voice and said they were busy with other guests. There were only two tables, each with a staff member. As I walked away, the employee kept confronting me and came toward me. The service had been unfriendly from the start. We were told there would be a wait, even though the restaurant was empty apart from one other table. Asking to sit outside on the terrace seemed to annoy the staff. We only wanted wine because the food prices were extremely high, but were still charged a €15 cover fee because the table had already been set with utensils. Other guests appeared to get warmer service, which made us feel even more unwelcome. I felt my privacy was disregarded when someone tried to enter the restroom, and the way I was spoken to felt needlessly harsh. I left uncomfortable and feeling overcharged. The experience cast a shadow on our trip to Siena, and we will never return. I would not recommend this place if you're hoping for a relaxing vacation.

The rooms were spotless and cozy, with jacuzzi tubs, and the whole place felt like a retreat. We loved the romantic restaurant, too. Dinner overlooking the vineyard was one of the best meals of our trip, and breakfast was delicious. My boyfriend and I also did the wine tasting when we arrived. The vineyard view was gorgeous, and the cheese board was amazing. The family and staff made the stay even better. There were activities like a vineyard picnic or a trip into town nearby, and we wish we'd taken advantage of them. We'll be back.

Radda is about a five minute drive away, with lots of wineries and activities nearby. We loved the place so much we wished our stay could go on. The spacious rooms were clean and comfortable, with air conditioning, a bath, and a wonderful view. The owners were lovely and did everything they could to help with requests. Breakfast was great, and there’s an on-site restaurant. We could also have their wine and snacks with a view whenever we wanted, which we miss a lot. When we left, the owner gave us a bottle. It was excellent, just like everything else. Grazie per una splendida vacanza, torneremo di certo!

We spent three wonderful nights at Tenuta CorteDomina after a disappointing hotel stay in Florence, and the vineyard views from our room were incredible. The Jacuzzi tub, luxury shower, and delicious breakfasts and dinners made it a stay we won't forget. The farmhouse was charming, and we especially enjoyed the vineyard tour and wine tasting. I hope we can return someday. For now, I'll recommend Tenuta CorteDomina to anyone visiting Tuscany.
