I was at a wedding here this weekend, and both the staff and facilities were exceptional. Everyone was so welcoming and willing to accommodate requests. The grounds were beautiful, with amazing views over Tuscany, and we even got to do a wine tasting before leaving. It was delightful. Highly recommend!

We had 48 guests for three days at the end of May, and it was a magical weekend we'll always cherish. Our guests were blown away by the venue and had nothing but praise for the staff. On the wedding day, the food was outstanding and the whole celebration felt relaxed and joyful. Barbara was wonderful from the planning through to the day itself. As an English couple organizing everything from abroad, we had few chances to meet suppliers in person. Barbara, Sofia, Daniele, and the rest of the team helped us find brilliant local vendors, handled every detail smoothly, and worked tirelessly to make our plans happen. They were flexible, supportive, and quick to sort out any problems. Borgo Castelvecchi is full of character and charm, with breathtaking scenery all around. Guests loved the winery tour and many bought bottles to take home after tasting the wines during our celebration. The nearby village is quaint and picturesque, and well worth a stop for ice cream and pastries at Bar Sampoli. We started with a pizza party on the first night. The team took care of everything and brought out fresh, delicious pizzas from the traditional oven, with plenty of choices. The kids especially loved the chocolate dessert pizza.

We love photographing weddings at Borgo Castelvecchi. The rooms have so much character, and the team is always welcoming and helpful. When the sun's out, the sunsets give us incredible light for photos, and those bulb lights look amazing at night too. It's a joy every time we shoot here. Highly recommended! Ludovica & Valerio

Borgo Castelvecchi gave us a wedding that felt intimate, easy, and full of warmth. We arrived with big hopes and a smaller budget than many of the other places we'd considered, and the team found ways to make it all happen beyond what we'd imagined. From day one, Barbara, Daniele, Sofia, Lorenzo, Giovanni, the kind and passionate owner, and everyone else made us feel cared for. They speak English fluently, communication was effortless, and we always felt supported. The setting is like a movie, with Chianti hills, stone buildings, and a peaceful, elegant garden where we said “I do” surrounded by nature. It felt like our own little world. The rooms are all different, cozy, elegant, and full of history and charming details. There are beautiful getting-ready rooms for both bride and groom, which made a lovely start to the day. We loved the food, from breakfast and aperitivo to pizza dinner and the wedding meal. Lorenzo and the team made a round tiramisu instead of a traditional cake. It looked beautiful, tasted delicious, and was a good price. The bride says it's the best tiramisu she's ever had. Their own rich red wine was another highlight, smooth and deep, perfect for the toasts. We made our own playlists and ran the speaker at Borgo Castelvecchi instead of hiring a DJ. The team made sure we had what we needed, and we ended up with a heartfelt celebration under the Tuscan sky. This place has soul, kindness, and a bit of magic. We're grateful we chose it, and can't wait to come back. It feels like home.
