Wildlife was all around us in the hills, and we were lucky enough to see deer and wild boars on several occasions. The house is only a few minutes' drive from Volpaia, and its central spot in Chianti made day trips to little towns, castles, and wineries into lifelong memories. It's a beautiful stone house that can fit up to three families. The rooms and bathrooms are large and comfortable. There's plenty of space to relax with a book or movie, along with several cozy areas for gathering and a dining table on a spacious covered terrace. The pool is great at any hour, day or night. A few underwater lights might be a nice addition.
