Agriturismo Selvella

After a day cycling, outdoor yoga felt amazing. Our Via Francegina group was delighted with the stay: the hosts were lovely company, and the pool, courtyards, and dinner were all spectacular.

We spent two nights here on a bikepacking trip. When we had a tire problem, the staff went out of their way to fetch a tube from a bike shop many miles away. They were awesome and so helpful. The dinners were delicious and wonderful. It was too cold for a swim, but sitting and relaxing by the pool was lovely.

We had such a good time here with our children, aged 1 and 3. Marina and the staff were consistently welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The kids loved seeing the farm animals, and the staff were sweet with them. Our eldest especially liked Giuseppe. We also loved the pool, and both breakfast and Tuscan dinner were exceptional. A beautiful, well-kept agriturismo that works really well for families. We'd love to return.

The historic charm and beauty of the agriturismo are lovely, and the rooms have comfortable beds. But I strongly advise against bringing dogs here. My 16-year-old small dog was bitten just below the eye by the owner's large dog in the breakfast room. She needed four stitches and sedation because the injury was in such a sensitive spot. Thankfully, she didn't lose her eye or suffer something worse. The owner reimbursed the vet expenses, which we appreciated, but we weren't offered a discount at checkout. Children may enjoy the farm animals, but pet owners should be very cautious, especially with a small or older dog.
