The views across Val d'Orcia from the windows are spectacular. The medieval village is tiny and so peaceful: we saw just two other tourists over two days in October. It feels as if little has changed there since the 14th century. The apartment is cozy, with two bedrooms, one small and one big, plus a kitchen-living room and a small bathroom. It has rustic, original furniture and a fully stocked kitchen. The owner was very helpful and can arrange electric bike rental if you ask.

It was tough to find and isn’t luxurious, but it’s well situated, close to vatican, and had all the facilities we needed. Free wifi included, which I’m using to write this.

The view over the hilltop village of Radicofani is beautiful, and the apartment stays bright and cool. It’s peaceful, nicely equipped, and furnished in a really characteristic, pleasant style. The kitchen has what you need to cook a bit of everything. A couple of niggles: the TV only gets about ten secondary channels, with no RAI or related channels and no Mediaset channels. The espresso machine doesn’t work, though I think it just needs descaling. Still, it was exactly what we needed. A solid 8!

Wake up to a beautiful, refreshing view from the window, in a truly tiny village of 30-50 people. There’s plenty to explore, with flowers everywhere and gorgeous houses, and it has everything you need. The rental was clean, perfect, and stocked with everything we needed. It’s also in a unique spot, just steps from the main activities and towns of the Val d'Orcia. A perfect stay.
