The drive to central Ragusa is about 10 minutes, and I wouldn't recommend this place based on our stay. The landlords have a very difficult manner and made us feel like we owed them something, even though we paid extra at the house because of confusion with the reservation. The man became somewhat aggressive, which is the last thing you want with small children there. The bad looks and nasty behavior really weren't what I'd expect from a B&B. Breakfast was another letdown: the first time in 10 days in Sicily that we were given small 20cl plastic cups for milk. The house is far from the city center. I'd look elsewhere, even if it costs a bit more, to avoid the kind of bad experience we had.

It's about a 10-minute drive downtown, with GPS or if you already know the route. In exchange, the place is very quiet, birds sing in the morning, and parking is easy. It made me wonder how people found places like this before today's technology. When the internet stopped working, Carmela and her husband were very helpful. They took me to their restaurant downtown, opened it just for me, and let me get some urgent work done there. I also got to see Ragusa lively at night, and really appreciated the dinner Carmela made for me for free. There isn't anywhere to eat within an easy walk, so bear that in mind. The rooms also have no tea-making setup. Mine had a fridge, but no dishes.

Set in a quiet, green part of the city, the property is easy to reach on foot from the center and close to the main roads. That makes it handy for trips to nearby places, including Caltagirone, Piazza Armerina, Donnafugata Castle, Modica, and Ispica. The place itself was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The husband-and-wife hosts were courteous, kind, and ready to help with any need. Breakfast and parking are included in the stay.

Antonio and Carmela were so warm and friendly, and the breakfast was fantastic. The rooms had all the comforts we needed, and the property made a great base for visiting all the destinations. A beautiful experience, thanks, and see you next time 👏🏻

A lovely green setting and a quiet, very clean place to stay. The owners were warm and kind, which feels rare these days. I'd recommend it to anyone after a peaceful holiday.
