Casale Imperatore

A great host and a great place.

This is the kind of place you return to again and again, until it starts to feel like home. We chose Appartamento Fuoco, one of the farmhouse’s furnished, fully equipped apartments, and it worked well for our family of six. There are outdoor areas with games for children and a barbecue space. The pool is warm and reaches 1.40 meters at its deepest. From here, it’s a good base for visiting places connected with Inspector Montalbano or swimming at the Randello nature reserve. Vendicari nature reserve, Marzamemi, Modica, Scicli and Ortigia are about an hour away.

Casale Imperatore is a welcoming, rustic farmhouse surrounded by nature, in a quiet location that still makes it easy to reach nearby attractions. Enrico and his whole family were wonderful, kind and helpful, and made us feel right at home. Our dog Ettore was happy too, with room to explore and roam safely while respecting the other guests. We highly recommend it for a relaxing stay with warm hospitality and a family feel.

We’ve been coming back to the farmhouse for years because every stay feels like home. Enrico and his family are wonderful, and he’s always kind and helpful. The place is well maintained and has a shared pool, barbecue and washing machine. It’s far from the hustle and bustle.
